The WERCS Integrates ChemADVISOR's LOLI 4.0 Comprehensive Regulatory Database
ALBANY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Wercs, Ltd., the global leader in providing tools and services to automate the authoring, managing and distributing of material safety data sheet (MSDS) and hazard communication documents, announced today that its software is fully compatible with ChemADVISOR's LOLI 4.0 regulatory database.
ChemADVISOR's LOLI (List of LIsts) database contains more than 2,600 regulatory lists from around the world, including environmental, health and safety, international as well as inventories and reference material necessary for compliance. The specific data includes regulations from international advisory agencies and government bodies. LOLI is updated on a weekly basis.
The more than 10 year collaboration between The Wercs and ChemADVISOR has resulted in the seamless integration of The WERCS MSDS software and the LOLI database. The direct integration helps to ensure that the MSDSs authored by The WERCS are always compliant regardless of a company's geographic location.
"Regulations are in constant flux. By integrating with the most comprehensive and up-to-date global regulatory database, we make it easy for our customers to efficiently comply with hazard communications," said Lou DeSorbo, president and founder of The Wercs, Ltd.
The latest integration provides additional capabilities to organize and display chemical data stored in XML format, enabling complex data sets such as Globally Harmonized Systems (GHS) substance classifications, eco-toxicology endpoints and transportation shipping information to be available to end-users of The WERCS.
"The integration of our latest offerings with The Wercs ensures that our history of providing mutual customers with comprehensive materials compliance solutions will continue," said Andy Dsida, president of ChemADVISOR.
