Worldwide Roll-Out Continues in Brazil
ALBANY, NY — The Wercs, Ltd., a global leader in Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) software, today announced that a major Fortune 50 manufacturer of health care products has successfully implemented The WERCS in Brazil. For the past year, the multi-national corporation has been strategically implementing the MSDS and Product Regulatory Software system across 13 operating companies world-wide.
By implementing the robust system offered by The Wercs, Ltd., the Fortune 50 company now has the ability to create and develop customized formats of MSDS styles for different regions of the world. This global format allows for documentation distribution, archiving, reporting and tracking regulatory issues to be met worldwide. In addition, regulatory issues can be extended in a variety of languages.
The global rollout of The WERCS across all operating companies will centralize all regulatory and toxicology issues. This will enable for an easily accessible, consolidated source of critical data for all external users.
This global rollout is an ongoing process, which is expected to take approximately three years to complete. After the successful product launch in Brazil, the Fortune 50 company is right on schedule for achieving a standard global regulatory compliance process in 2004.
“We are pleased and very excited to work with such a reputable market leader,” said Lou DeSorbo, founder and president of The Wercs, Ltd. “Supporting a global implementation is always a challenge within any organization, however our real-world history and experience has already translated into success for them. We look forward to helping them further realize significant efficiencies on a global level.”
