Petersen Receives Project Management Professional Certification From The Project Management Institute

Albany, NY (July 7, 2005) - The Project Management Institute (PMI ), the world's leading not-for-profit professional association for project management, is proud to announce that Mr. John Petersen has earned the designation of Project Management Professional (PMP ).
Petersen currently serves as the Director of Project Management for The Wercs, Ltd., a software company that focuses on providing tools to automate hazard communications. His responsibilities include client implementations, development of staff and new product development. Petersen also serves as the company s ISO Quality Leader. In his tenure at The Wercs, Petersen has been instrumental in developing the Project Management Office, a structured protocol for project implementation, methodologies and guidelines. His client implementations includes: Ampacet, Goodyear, JohnsonDiversey, Loctite, Penn Color, Quaker Chemical and Schlumberger. Petersen earned his B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Almeda University. He also holds a Masters Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University.
